CONSULTING WORKFLOW · CONTRACT TERMS

Clear project scope, deliverables and M&V rules

From pre-assessment through proposal, contract, analysis, review and follow-up verification, we explain how the work is carried out and how data are protected.

This public page summarizes commercial principles only. It is not an offer, legal advice, a complete contract or a promise of savings. The signed Korean/English contract and its SOW prevail.

1. Consulting process

01

Pre-assessment

Tell us your site, target system, data availability and main issue. No raw operational data are required initially.

02

Scope & confidentiality

Define metering boundary, study period, datasets, site access, and any non-disclosure or secure transfer agreement.

03

Proposal & quotation

Agree on selected service(s), work scope, deliverables, schedule, assumptions, fees and expenses.

04

Contract & kickoff

Confirm parties, scope of work, change handling, roles, payment milestones and authorized contacts.

05

Analysis & review

Validate MES/EMS/BEMS data, assess drivers and KPIs, test opportunities and prepare agreed outputs.

06

Acceptance & follow-up

Deliver reports and models, complete agreed review/corrections, and optionally extend to Test & Adjust and M&V.

2. Key contract conditions

CategoryPrinciple and practical application
Scope and exclusionsThe SOW identifies sites, systems, measurements, dates, analysis services, on-site work and exclusions. Changes require written agreement.
Fee and paymentThe final fee, currency, VAT, payment dates and travel/metering expenses are set out in the quotation and executed contract; published ranges are illustrative.
Schedule and client cooperationProject dates assume access to agreed data, equipment information and responsible staff. Delays in inputs may change the schedule by agreement.
Deliverables and acceptanceList reports, scripts, datasets and meetings in the SOW. Allow a defined review period, written change requests and a mutually agreed correction process.
Data confidentiality & privacyThe client retains its source data. Establish secure transfer, authorized access, retention/deletion, confidentiality and any personal-data obligations before exchanging files.
Ownership and reuseClient-specific data and contract deliverables follow the executed license/ownership clause; pre-existing methods and generic tools remain separately identified.
M&V and savings claimsA model or recommendation does not guarantee energy savings. Verified saving requires a predefined boundary and protocol: Adjusted Baseline minus metered Actual, with suitable adjustments and uncertainty review.
Change, suspension and terminationMaterial changes, additional equipment, delayed inputs and termination settlement require written procedures; dispute resolution follows the executed contract.

3. Deliverables by service

ServiceContract deliverablesTypical decision
Basic data diagnosisData quality checklist, consumption structure, KPI shortlistProceed to detailed modelling?
Baseline & M&V modelRegression formula, validation and M&V planIs the baseline fit for reporting?
Detailed process/utility analysisEquipment KPIs, opportunities, prioritiesWhich improvements merit testing?
Test & AdjustProtocol, observations, comparison and safety checksWhich operating setting is acceptable?
Continuous M&VMonthly trends, alerts, performance reviewWhat corrective action is required?
TrainingCourse material, exercises and templatesCan the client team carry out routine analysis?

Fees are finalized only after confirming site conditions and scope.

4. Measurement & verification principles

Baseline and actual energy

Energy saving = Adjusted Baseline Energy − Actual Energy; evaluated only for comparable operating periods and agreed measurement boundaries.

Evidence levels and limitations

Keep Verified Saving, Saving Potential, Simulation and DEMO separate. Document excluded observations, model uncertainty, atypical events and client approvals.
